Att(ouch)ment.....

They say attachment is the root of all grief. How true is that. No matter how hard a person tries, attachment is not something they can avoid, especially in the most important relationships of their lives. But why exactly is it so bad..... trying to find the answers

People who are close and important; be it partners, friends, family etc. are cherished. We develop feelings and emotional bonds with them. We love them and do all that is possible to make them happy. But with this eventually comes the big E - Expectations. A person consciously or otherwise starts having expectations, and when they are not met, there is disappointment. Possessiveness and insecurities follow. Oh and dependency acts as the fuel to the fire. And then there is suffering. No matter how much we deny, we can be insecure possessive fools :p

Solution - Stay away from attachment. Do whatever to steer clear from depending on someone. Or simply let go....

But how????? By staying away from people you love? Or by achieving the unthinkable feat of not keeping any expectations?How how how??????
